12 Grapes

The Spanish and Mexican traditions of eating 12 grapes just before midnight will bring you good fortune throughout the new year. Just make sure you finish them all before the stroke of midnight.

Texas Caviar with an Italian Twist

Black Eyed Peas & Lentil Combo Salad

Black-eyed peas from the American South and lentils from Italy are both considered to bring prosperity during the next year as they resemble coins. We have combined them for a tasty appetizer dip.

Jalapeno Cheddar Corn Bread Mini Muffins

The gold color of the cornbread is a sign of a prosperous new year; enjoy the golden muffins with your Texas Caviar

Stuffed Pork Loin

Roasted pork loin stuffed with greens and cheese, served with a tarragon cream sauce.

Who knew, the humble pig is considered good luck in the new year!  While cows stand still as they eat and chickens scratch backwards, pigs root forward while they forage for food. This represents moving forward and embracing the challenges and adventures of the new year.

Greens, because of the deep emerald color resembling money, are believed to help bring wealth to the new year. We have stuffed our pork loin with green and some cheese for a delicious entrée.

Green Beans Amandine

Sticking with our green theme, we added green beans to provide that extra boost for wealth in the new year.

Chinese Long Noodles

In China, the long noodles signify longevity and eating an unbroken noodle is believed to bring good health and luck in the new year. Those who can eat at least one long noodle without chewing or breaking it are said to enjoy the longest lives and best luck of all.

Crusty Bread with Whipped Herbed Butter

New Year’s Day in Ireland is known as the Day of Butter Bread. Tradition says a buttered bread placed outside the front door symbolizes an absence of hunger in the home for years to come. We will include delicious crusty bread and our whipped herb butter with your order, plus an extra slice to set out your front door.

Round 2020/2021 Cookies

Round foods, such as desserts and fruits, symbolize that the old year has come to an end, and the new year holds the promise of a fresh start. Enjoy our special New Year’s cookies and the promises they hold for a brighter 2021 for us all!
